New co-captains will lead the Scotland 7s side in the 2018-19 World Rugby Sevens Series.
Coach John Dalziel says their two co-captains will help them especially in the opening round of the series in Dubai this weekend.
Dalziel says they are coming prepared as they are aware of the Fijians who are in their pool.
Jamie Farndale and Robbie Fergusson were appointed by Coach Dalziel for the co-captaincy roles after he named a core squad of seventeen to prepare for the Dubai 7s this weekend.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways men’s 7s team is in Pool B with Kenya, Scotland and France in the Dubai 7s which kicks off this weekend.
They open their campaign against France on Friday at 7pm, followed by Scotland at 10pm and Kenya at 4am on Saturday.
