The Samoa 7’s rugby team has qualified for the semi-finals of the Pacific Energy Ovalau 7’s underway at Nasau Park.

Samoa defeated Bukawaqa One 31-7 in the quarter-finals today.

Samoa will now meet hosts Ovalau in the semis who defeated St. John 7-0 in their quarter final.

Tauraqa Gold are also through to the semis after a 14-5 win over Qereqere.

The winner of the competition will walk away with $3000.
