Vodafone Fiji sevens coach Ben Ryan is hoping he will be able to make changes during the Dubai and South Africa tournaments, but this will depend on budget availability.
Ryan’s squad will be marching into camp today in preparation for the two tournaments.
He says with the caliber of players in his training squad, it will only be wise to make changes to his team after the Dubai tournament and prior to the South Africa meet.
“Whether we put a 12 or 16- man team, it’s down to budget. I would like to look at the possibility of changing the teams between Dubai and Port Elizabeth. We have got a good side now and I want to use that squad effectively. So that is the situation.”
Ryan’s side will play Argentina, France and Brazil during the pool stages at the Dubai tournament, which is scheduled from December 5-6.
