Iran football boss, Carlos Queiroz believes Cristiano Ronaldo can win the World Cup in Russia to add to Portugal’s Euro 2016 success.
Queiroz has claimed Portugal have the “magic formula” to win the World Cup.
The former Portugal coach blamed Ronaldo for the country’s 2010 World Cup exit against Spain.
Mirror.co.uk reports, Ronaldo has carried Portugal almost single-handedly in their two Group B games so far – scoring a hat-trick in the opening 3-3 draw with Spain and the only goal in a narrow 1-0 win over Morocco.
Portugal meets Iran at 6am tomorrow.
In the matches earlier at 2am, Saudi Arabia meets Egypt and Uruguay takes on Russia.
