The Naitasiri Rugby Union has selected its sixty-member extended squad in preparation for the upcoming Skipper Cup competition this year.

The Koli Sewabu coached side has included a mixture of new and experienced players in the side.

Sewabu says few of the new players like Emosi Vunivosa, Mosese Gavidi, and Autiko Domonakibau could debut for Naitasiri this season.

“This year finding new talent especially our boys from the highlands quite a number of boys from Wainimala who have been playing a number of sevens tournament and have played a few tournaments in overseas so they come in with a little bit of exposure as well so it’s just a matter of getting the team ready for the next few weeks but setting the platform this weekend in terms of where their fitness level lies and let them know the expectations of what lies ahead so that they can prepare physically and mentally”.

The final forty-member squad will be named in the coming weeks.
