Jurgensen speaks about resignation

October 28, 2015 4:50 am

National cricket coach, Shane Jurgensen says the decision to resign from his post after only a year is for personal reasons.

The Australian mentor took up the coaching position last year after a rigorous selection process undertaken by Cricket Fiji, involving over 80 applicants from around the world.

“It’s been something that has been at the back of my mind for a while. We’ve had a busy year and it’s more for personal reasons, it’s just time for me to move on.”
