Two times FIFA World Cup representative, Mikael Silvestre is ready to explore the Fijian football during his stay for the next four days.

Silvestre who played for France and also represented English Premier League clubs Manchester United and Arsenal is in the country for the Fiji FA Awards.

He says he wants to get well versed with Fiji.

“I want to discover Fiji, Fijian people, Fiji football, the culture and as soon as I arrived the ceremony was fantastic. Its already a good adventure that has just started with you.”

Silvestre will be on the guest speaker at the Fiji Football Associations Awards night in the weekend.

15 categories will be rewarded on the night at the Sofitel Resort in Nadi on Saturday.
