The Ba FC side anticipates a tough match against New Caledonia’s Hienghene side in its OFC quarterfinal match this afternoon.

Ba FC coach Ronil Kumar says they hope to be the second team to secure a semi-final spot after Auckland City FC.

Despite playing an away game, Kumar says they are ready to stamp their mark against New Caledonia.

“We have a striker, Saula Waqa is back in our team and that’s going to strengthen our striking force. It’s going to be a really tough game for us. As I have said it’s not going to be our home grown, not our home crowd but we’ll definitely prepared for that.”

Meanwhile, Auckland City FC thrashed Papua New Guinea’s Lae City Dwellers 4-0 to book the first semi-final ticket of the OFC Championship League.

Ba FC will play New Caledonia’s Hienghene in the second OFC quarterfinal to decide the second semi-finalist at 6pm.
