Fiji to host U20 championships

International football action will return to Fiji next year with the Oceania Under-20 World Cup play-offs scheduled for Lautoka.

Oceania Football Confederation has announced Churchill Park will play host to the championships from March 17-30 with five teams taking part.

Apart from Fiji, rival New Zealand Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia and Vanuatu will do battle.

The winner will qualify for the U20 World Cup in Turkey to be played from June 21-July 13.
The U17 World Cup play-offs will take place in Vanuatu,while New Zealand will host the FUTSAL play-offs and Tahiti, the beach football play-offs.

The format and dates for the O League are yet to be announced.
