Fiji has finished fourth after being beaten 2-1 by Tahiti in the OFC Under 16 Championship in the Solomon Islands today.

Rahul Naresh scored Fiji’s lone goal in the 89th minute of play.

The two sides were playing in the third and fourth place play-off.

Meanwhile, New Zealand and the Solomon Islands meet in the final this afternoon with both having qualified for the Under-17 World Cup in Peru next year.
