Fiji FA to decide on players

The Fiji Football Association says they will this week call for a disciplinary committee hearing to deal with players who played in a tournament in New Zealand last month.

The tournament, which was organized byNew Zealand Fiji Association Football Club saw a number of notable names take part.

This included national and Labasa team goalkeeper Akuila Mataisuva, Suva’s Emori Ragata and Lautoka’s Valerio Nawatu.

Fiji FA claims the players did not take permission from them to play in the tournament.

Fiji FA chief executive Bob Kumar says he is in the process of finalizing details for the disciplinary committee to meet this week to hear the case.
