Fiji 7s side ready for Cape Town tournament

Fiji Airways men’s coach Gareth Baber says the players have recovered well in camp and are ready to deliver in Cape Town in the next two days.

Baber says the players are physically and mentally prepared as they have reviewed their mistakes from Dubai.

He says the players have had a day rest yesterday and are looking forward to turn ability into results.

Training has been going on well obviously you worried about travel and how players respond to travel, potential sickness from travelling in the plane, cold and coughs but we seems ok at the moment and they have recovered well yesterday and ready for this weekend.”

Fiji plays France in its first match at 9.59pm tomorrow, then faces Kenya at 1.20am on Sunday before playing England in its final pool match 5.03am.

The Cup quarter-final begins at 11.04pm on Sunday, semi-final will be held at 3.56am on Monday and the final is scheduled for 6.44am.
