Club football delights Fiji FA

A number of districts that have completed their club competition have delighted the Fiji Football Association.

The Fiji FA has today announced that the NCC zone play-offs will be played in Nausori and Ba on December 7-8 with the finals, a week later in Nausori.

Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel says club football is a must for all districts in order to have proper development.

“We are very happy with the progress that is happening. And the date we are giving for NCC is December, so by the end of this or mid November, most districts will complete their club games. Most have completed and nominated their teams for NCC. This is something positive that we see that districts are looking ahead and doing their club competitions.”

Meanwhile, Patel has also announced that Fiji FA senior vice president Sheikh Ibrahim will remain the chair of the National League Board.
