Malakai Rakula proved to be the hero for the Men in Black as he nailed the winning goal from a penalty in the second spell of extra time to send Ba into the final.

Ba football secretary, Ilyaz Khan says the team will now await the results of the second semi-final between defending champions Rewa and Suva tonight.

“After this, we will go back and address our mistakes. We will see who we will face and then we will prepare accordingly. We just have two days but hats off to our coach and players and the team officials and the entire soccer-loving fans, local and abroad for supporting Ba.”

Rewa plays Suva in the second semi-final at Ratu Cakobau Park at 7pm tonight.
The winner will face Ba in the final on Sunday in Nausori.
