“We will not lie.”
While announcing FijiFirst party provisional candidates, party leader Voreqe Bainimarama says that they will not engage in ethnic, religious, provisional politics and will not make economically and financially irresponsible statements.
“Our message will be based on facts, on positive engagement, and will be based on what we achieve as one people, one nation. It is your party, because we don’t discriminate, because we care about every Fijian, because we want every Fijian empowered, because we give you stability, we give you security and equality, a must for all.”
Bainimarama says the party strives to maintain a diverse and inclusive body of representatives.
“Our four core values of integrity, diversity, meritocracy and self-reliance drive us to achieve our stated objective. The adherence to these core values is what our selected candidates poses. They have been rigorously scrutinized and have been appointed on merit.”
The FijiFirst party leader says that he is confident that they will fill all the seats in parliament.
He reiterated that the FijiFirst party manifesto will be released soon.
