THE WATER AUTHORITY'S OUTDOOR SIGNAGE AT VIRIA PUMP STATION IN VATUWAQA

The Water Authority is issuing a stern warning to vandals to refrain from vandalizing their signage.

WAF General Manager Customer Services, Sekove Uluinayau says they are concerned with the graffiti vandalism on its outdoor signage at the Viria Housing Pump Station in Vatuwaqa, Suva.

Uluinayau says it’s an eyesore to see their signage plastered with graffiti, and this is an act of deranged minds who have no appreciation of cleanliness, beauty, order or peace.

He says people need to respect and not tamper with WAF’s assets.

Uluinayau adds it is disappointing to see the damage done as these signages do not come cheap and are very costly to remove.

He says that the matter has been referred to Police and a stern warning goes out to graffiti artists to refrain from doing these acts.

The Authority is urging the public to contact crime stoppers on 919 if they see anyone carrying out the act or have any information in terms of the graffiti artists.
