Vodafone Fiji Limited and Westpac Bank has handed over an $86,000 sponsorship to the Fiji Institute of Accountants for their congress.

FIA President Zarin Khan says the congress will provide a platform for young people to participate, gain knowledge, and get experience and exposure in the accounting field.

Khan says topics such as innovation, resilience, technology, culture, arts and social responsibility will be discussed.

Each year, we have motivational speakers whose personal and professional journey is an inspiration to many. This year is no different and we believe that the delegates will be inspired and empowered. Further, we would have been able to foster a culture of innovation both personally and professionally.

The event will be held at the Shangri-la Fijian Resort from May 24th to 25th.

President Major General Retired Jioji Konrote will be the chief guest at this event.
