The newly registered political party Unity Fiji has set out on a membership drive to add to their more than 9500 support base.
Party Leader Savenaca Narube says one of their focuses will be to talk to other political parties on a possible partnership.
“We would definitely like to talk to everyone, we haven’t ruled out any possibilities there. We’ll talk to everyone that would like to listen to us because I feel like the unity, the political unity is something we would all like to see.”
Party President Adi Sivia Qoro says they stand apart from other parties with a people first, politics second approach.
“This movement is not an overnight movement, it is something that we had had come together to, in a space where like-minded people discuss the issues that we are facing today in Fiji.”
Unity Fiji is expected to launch their official website next week.
