The Itaukei Land Trust Board in the North is concerned with tenants not complying with their lease terms and conditions.
TLTB Regional Manager Northern Josaia Waqairatu says the concern comes following recent inspections conducted by the Board.
In a letter to their tenants in the Labasa Township, Waqairatu says they have had yo penalize tenants who have failed to comply with their lease conditions.
He states that after being penalized, tenants have made comments regarding the issue.
Taking this into consideration, Waqairatu says the Board has seen it fit to hold an awareness program for all its tenants.
The awareness program will be held on Friday at the Labasa Civic Centre and will allow the Board to talk about the lease terms and conditions as well as answer any questions from tenants.
Waqairatu is urging all their tenants in Labasa Town to attend the session because after the program, they will commence inspections and penalize any tenant that is in breach.
