The submissions received during the bus industry review consultations will now undergo an analysis process.

Independent Bus Fare Review Committee, Chair, Joel Abraham says the eight day nationwide consultations which came to an end yesterday was deemed successful.

“The Committee will now gather and deliberate on what should be the appropriate levels on bus fare, what should be the fair amount of fare to be charged and once that is done the Committee will present this findings.”

Abraham says the general concerns of bus-fare pricing, conditions of buses and service delivery topped discussions during the consultations.
