Rain ceases for the moment

Reports coming out of different places in Fiji say there are is no rainfall being experienced.

FBC News spoke to residents in Ba, Rakiraki, Tavua, Lautoka, Nadi and Sigatoka, who say there is no sign of rain.

Occasional showers are currently being experienced in Sigatoka.

Roko Tui Nadroga Viliame Burenivalu confirms that the current weather condition is being monitored by Police and other DISMAC officials.

Burenivalu says people have been adviced to take the necessary precaution and take heed of weather warnings.

There is also calm weather in the central division.

Rain has also eased in Taveuni.

This was confirmed by Police who are monitoring the situation in Taveuni.
