Prime Fiji Case adjourned

The Director of Prime Fiji Limited will appear at the Suva Magistrates Court in relation to forgery charges later this month.

The Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption has charged the company with one count of forgery and one count of using forged document.

It is alleged the director submitted a falsified performance security bond from the Westpac Bank amounting to over $351,800 to the Fiji Roads Authority while negotiating for new capital rural street lighting contract.

A summon was issued to the Director to appear in court today, however due to the unavailability of the Magistrate the matter has been adjourned until the 25th of this month.
