Police in Sigatoka are requesting information that could help identify the body of a woman found near the Yavulo Village river bank in Sigatoka.

The body was discovered by a 12-year-old girl who was walking along the river bank yesterday afternoon.

The victim is an Itaukei woman with short curly black hair, believed to between 20-30 years old, and was wearing a thin strap dress with a blue and white masi design.
