Police are now looking at the possibility of an organized racket that planned the prison escape and the robberies.
Police Chief of Operations ACP Rusiate Tudravu says investigators are putting the puzzle together that links the escapes and the robberies.
ACP Tudravu says there has had to be outside help.
He adds police will not rest until all those involved are put behind bars.
Meanwhile two people have been taken into custody for allegedly aiding the escaped prisoners.
The two men are believed to have been transporting food and other supplies to the escapees.
Four escapees were apprehended on Friday night on Draunibota Island just off Uduya Point.
Only Isoa Waqa remains at large.
