The Naboutini 1 Bridge located at Votualevu Naboutini Road, Nadi will be closed from 7am in the next hour for emergency repairs.

The Bridge will be closed from 7am today and will be opened to motorists at 12pm tomorrow.

FRA says the Bridge closure will allow their contractor Higgins Limited to carry out emergency maintenance work on the bridge.

The emergency work will include replacing the damaged timber decking and running boards.

The travelling public is advised to use an alternative access via Narendra Singh Road and that the bridge will be re-open as soon as repairs are completed.
