Miss Fiji Pageant to be held in Suva next month

This year’s Miss Fiji Pageant will be held at the Suva Civic Auditorium from 18th to 23rd November.

Local Government Minister, Premila Kumar says that 17 Queen Contestants will be participating in the contest.

She adds the Pageant Organizing Committee will be headed by Div Damodar.

He is the CEO of Damodar Group of Companies and is well acquainted with the entertainment industry.

Kumar adds a financial and activity report will be prepared by the Organizing Committee by 31st December and submitted for an external audit.

Committee Chair, Damodar will also be working with his team to manage the participation of the winning Queen at the Miss South Pacific Island Pageant Contest at the end of the year.

The contesting Queens are representing the 12 cities and towns of Suva, Lautoka City, Ba, Labasa, Levuka, Nadi, Nausori, Nasinu, Rakiraki, Savusavu, Sigatoka, and Tavua.

Six Municipal Councils have confirmed the winning Queens for 2018 will also take part during this year’s contest.

Major announcements on the build-up to the 2019 Miss Fiji Pageant will be made in the coming weeks by the Chairman.
