The fine tuning of the three sugar mills is being undertaken by the Fiji Sugar Corporation engineers currently.

Chetty says the plants and mill equipment need regular service to ensure it operates smoothly during the crushing season.

The FSC is also looking at the rail system used to transport cane.

Chetty says the rail bridges need to be in good to avoid disruptions.
