The Fiji Roads Authority has reassured that there will be no repeat of last year where a number of road work were being carried out at the same time.

This comes as they will be upgrading twenty roads in the Capital City in the third quarter of this year.

FRA Chief Executive Jonathan Moore says road repairs in Suva will be carried out in stages to ensure there is minimum disruption to traffic flow.

“We are also making sure there is no further work being carried out in this end of Kings road at the same time because that would be just another situation from last year which we are trying to avoid so we are selecting the roads in the batches of three and four and when work on those finish then we move on to three or four more roads.”

Meanwhile, the FRA says work on the Nabua roundabout is expected to be completed by the first week of next month
