“Everywhere we go in this country people continue to remind us that they are scared and this is no democracy.”

Party Leader Mahendra Chaudhry says if FLP comes in power they will revitalize Fiji’s rural economy and treat it as a matter of urgency.

“Manifesto focuses on meeting the needs and aspirations of the masses, the poor, the workers, farmers, villagers and those in the rural and urban settlements.”

Chaudhry says the party will further extend the list of food, medicine and consumer items to zero-rate under VAT.

He adds FLP will make sure all baby foods are zero-rated.
