President Jioji Konrote has inspired many Rotumans to lead a healthy lifestyle and to take care of their own environment.

This was his main message during the week-long official visit of his home island.

During his visit to the Christ the King Primary School in Sumi on Rotuma, the President planted 30 more trees as part of the four million trees in four years campaign.

He enlightened the students on the importance of sustainably managing their island environment.

Konrote also urged the parents on the island to give their children the right food to avoid non-communicable diseases.
