Two men charged in connection with the possession of illicit drugs were offered bail by the Suva Magistrates Court this morning.
Pita Fong and Solomoni Boini are both charged with two counts each for having illicit drugs methamphetamine and marijuana in their possession.
The court heard that the first accused without lawful authority, allegedly had possession of 12.9 grams methamphetamine and 0.9 grams of marijuana while the second accused had 0.1 grams methamphetamine and 4.7 grams of marijuana.
This was discovered by police during a raid last Friday in Namadi Heights.
Magistrate Jioji Boseiwaqa granted them bail with two sureties and a bond of five hundred dollars each.
The first accused has been ordered to surrender his passport and a stop departure has been imposed on him.
The matter has been adjourned to 30th January, 2017.
