Development will be for all Fijians: Sayed-Khaiyum

FijiFirst general secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says they will continue to represent all Fijians as their administration returns to government for another four-year term.

Sayed-Khaiyum says building on from the last four years – they will continue with the developments that will benefit all Fijians.

“As the honourable Prime Minister has also said that the next four years of course we want everybody irrespective of whether you voted for us or not to come together as one nation and essentially focus on developments, essentially focus on empowering all Fijians to ensure that our future is bright not just for ourselves but also for our children and our children’s’ children and to have economic prosperity.”

The FijiFirst Party received a total of 227, 241 votes of the 454, 335 votes cast in the General Election.

Majority of its votes came from the Western Division followed by the Central Division.

Thanking his leader, Sayed-Khaiyum says all their candidates contested the election on the political framework created by Voreqe Bainimarama – where they spoke the truth and took a very principal position in respect of the forward.
