Padhyachi is charged with allegedly attempting to murder his partner in Colo-i-Suva last year.
It is alleged that on 15th September last year, the 28-year-old tried to kill his partner by drowning her in a Colo-i-Suva pool.
It is alleged he pushed her into the water and tried to drown her.
The Judge will deliver his judgment on Friday.
