Today, the State informed the court that Chandar will be issued a summon notice, and they are working with the Immigration Department to obtain her correct address in Australia.

The State will be calling 28 witnesses for the trial.

It is alleged the two sisters obtained more than $52,142 from the 17 complainants by deception.

For the money laundering charges, it is alleged that Chandar between September and March 2014 disposed over $79,991 into a bank account.

Also between February and May 2014, Seta Ram allegedly disposed $2,525 into another bank account that was the proceeds of crime.

The matter will be recalled on July 10th.
