The Finance Ministry is now receiving submissions for the 2013 budget.

Private sector organisations and civil societies are invited to make written submissions to ensure that the final budget reflects the need and priorities of all stakeholders.

According to the Finance Ministry – the 2013 budget will build on government’s medium term objectives of fostering sustainable growth and achieving fiscal sustainability.

The submissions should state the nature of the proposal, the impact on the economy, employment creation, rural development and its contribution to nation building.

The deadline for submissions is the 24th of next month.
