Police are appealing for information that would assist them in their investigations into the discovery of a woman’s body in the Rewa River today.

Police spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the body was found under the old Rewa Bridge by passers-by.

The body was later recovered by police officers.

Sokomuri said the body is at the mortuary at the Nausori Hospital awaiting identification and a post mortem examination.
