Former Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama was questioned and released at the CID headquarters in Suva last night.

Police Chief of Intelligence, Investigations, and Prosecutions and Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Sakeo Raikaci confirmed this to FBC News.

Raikaci says that a report was lodged against Bainimarama for an allegation of inciteful comments made in a media release.
