November 28, 2015 6:58 pm

Climate Change Activist Noelene Nabulivou has stated that the fight against climate change has been actively blocked by a number of countries.

Speaking at the Climate Change march in Suva, Nabulivou says developed nations should take into account that Pacific Island countries are facing the effect of climate change.

“So what we say is we see this and of course it angers us, it angers pacific people and it confuses us because if you really care about human rights and about justice and about social equity and you must care about climate justice.”

Nabulivou says people should be strong enough to meet their leaders and heads of parliament and hold them accountable for decisions they make.

The Climate Change march signifies that climate change affects us all regardless of disabilities, gender, age and gender equality in all climate change actions.
