Fiji Airports Chair Faiz Khan says that due to political interference some years back, they had to give away valuable land which could have been of great use now.

Khan says that this was the case in 2002 when AFL was ordered to give the land away.

“All of that building from HLB to where Mothibhai’s is, used to belong to AFL at that time in 2002, but those days through political interference we were ordered to give the land away.”
