A 14-year-old boy died yesterday after he is alleged to have jumped from a moving bus which was travelling along the Laucala Beach road in Suva.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro has confirmed the victim landed on the footpath.

He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The post-mortem is expected to be conducted shortly after which police can ascertain the cause of death.
