The opening of the refurbished ground floor and food court area of FNPF Place in Victoria Parade in Suva has been delayed.

Fiji National Provident Fund’s Chief Executive Jaoji Koroi says they planned to open this month however this is now not possible.

“Our target initially was before the end of Christmas and I think we are slipping on this target. At this stage, we are still looking at maybe early 2020.”

He says regular upgrades to any commercial building is part and parcel of property investment.

The complex is owned by the Fund and is a popular lunch spot for office workers in Suva.

As part of the renovation, a modern look will be given to the food court area and the building’s main entrance once completed.
