Fiji Kulas assistant captain Jotivini Tabua is adamant their side will bounce back from their 4-nil loss to Papua New Guinea in their opening clash of the MSG Prime Minister’s Cup.
She says the loss was an early wake-up call for the team, and they have been working on their weaknesses since.
Tabua adds they need to focus on their passing and set-pieces, two important areas they need to improve if they want to have a shot at reaching the elimination rounds.
“We know what we have to do. It’s good we had this loss in our opening game because we still have time to fix our mistakes and be better.”
The Kulas are yet to win an MSG Cup title, and she believes they have what it takes to create history this year.
They play their next game against Vanuatu.
