Suva makes good start to Pacific Football Cup

Inter District Championship Champions Suva has made a blistering start to the 2014 Pacific Football Cup in Sydney Australia.

Suva thumped Vatukoula New Zealand 6-0 in their first match last night.

Suva led 3-0 at half time with goals from Napolioni Qasevakatini, Leone Damudamu and Ravinesh Karan Singh.

The team added another three in the second spell to have the biggest score line of Day 1.

In other matches played last night, defending champions Nadi beat New Zealand Nadroga 2-1, Rewa and Sydney All Stars played to a nil all draw while Ba lost to AFFA All Stars 2-1.

In the games today, Nadi will take on New Zealand All Stars at 8pm while Suva takes on Rewa at 11.45pm.
