Nadroga’s under 20 players are off to pursue rugby dreams abroad as scouts from France and New Zealand are in Fiji.

Nadroga Rugby spokesperson Tiko Matawalu says players have been selected to be part of rugby academies.

Matawalu says as part of Nadroga’s rugby development – they ensure that players make a career out of rugby.

See that we are carrying out well in terms of player development not only in terms of getting them ready for national duties but we also prepare them so they are able to earn a living from their talents. This is what we are experiencing now.

The Nadroga senior team will hold trials tomorrow as the champion side looks to fill the void left behind by player’s moving abroad to pursue club commitments.
