Naitasiri beat Nadi in a tough battle at Prince Charles Park

The Naitasiri Rugby side beat Nadi 32-18 in the round three of the men’s Skipper Cup Premiership at Prince Charles Park this afternoon.

The Jet setter side was too strong for Naitasiri in the first half, scoring two tries in a gruesome match to lead 13-12 at the breather.

A penalty kick from Kini Douglas early in the second spell ensure Naitasiri took back the lead 15-13.

Naitasiri’s Kini Douglas successfully converted another penalty kick to extend their lead 18-13.

Nadi’s consistent attack was paid off with a Jiutasa Nave grounding a corner try to help his side equal Naistasiri’s score.

Naitasiri was then awarded another penalty try, further extending their lead 25-18.

Kini Douglas sealed Naitasiri’s victory with a beautiful try from an intercept in the last play.

In other matches around the country, Suva beat Namosi 12-11, and Tailevu defeats Rewa 25-21.
