Roy Krishna in doubt

New Zealand based Fijian born football star Roy Krishna is likely to move to Major League Soccer in the USA.

According to the Oceania FC, Phoenix is keen to keep the striker and have offered him a new contract but he has not signed it so far.
He is also two games away from activating a clause in his contract that would automatically extend it for another year.
He has missed the last three games through injury but his agent has denied he is sitting out games in order to avoid the clause.

The Colorado Rapids football team tried to buy Krishna last month but the Phoenix rejected the bid and rumors have it that Krishna is interested to move.

Colorado Rapids seized an international Roster spot from Sporting Kansas City and paid for an international player slot, allowing them to bring another foreign player into the club.

A move for Krishna would be a historic one. It would make the A-League star the first Pacific player to appear in the MLS since Benjamin Totori in 2008 and would bring a new focus to the continent.
