The Rewa football side is gearing up for a tough encounter against Suva in the semi-final of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament in Suva.
Rewa coach Marika Rodu says despite the odds being stacked against their favor, the Delta Tigers are aiming to make the most of their first semi-final appearance since 2012.
“We don’t see Suva as an easy opponent. Just looking at their record, they are number one in the country as far as the National League is concerned. They are not new to this stage but we are looking forward to giving a good game.”
The Inkk Mobile BOG semifinals will be played at the ANZ Stadium this weekend.
Rewa will take on Suva in the first semi-final on Saturday at 3pm, while Ba will take on Lautoka at 5pm.
The 3rd and 4th playoff will be played at 1pm on Sunday with the final to be played at 3pm.
