Alisi Galo is making the most of her time to learn from the best as she prepares with the Fiji Pearls 25 member extended squad to the Netball World Cup.

Galo was part of the national Under 21 side who finished fourth in the World Youth Netball Cup in 2017.

She says the competition is tough as she competes with the senior players who are also fighting for the final 12 spots.

“Great working the senior players. It’s a great experience and I learn a lot from Taraima, Nina and Maria.”

Meanwhile, Coach Vicki Wilson will name her final squad in June.

The National netball side will play test matches against Singapore and the Silver Ferns as part of the build-up to the world event.

The Fiji Pearls are in Pool C with Jamaica, South Africa, Trinidad, and Tobago.

The Netball World Cup runs through the 12th to the 21st of July in the UK.
