The 2015 Rooster Chicken National Football Club Championships kick off today.

17 teams will battle it out for the eight crucial spots up for grabs for next week’s finals.

In the Southern division, matches begin at 1pm at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park while in the Western Division, matches begin at 9am at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park.

The winner of the competition walks away with $4000 while the runner up gets $2000.

The finals will be held at Ba’s Govind Park and you can catch the live commentary of the final on Sunday week at 4pm on Radio Fiji Two with the voice of soccer, Raymond Stoddart.
