Nadi football works on consistency

The Jack’s Nadi Football team has set its focus on consistency ahead of the 2015 Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants, starting Friday in Nausori.

The side hasn’t won the BOG title since 1996 and is bent on changing that this year.

Team Director, Javed Ahmed says at times inconsistency has been the downfall for the team.

“Make sure that we sharpen our finishing and fitness level obviously needs to be there because of the tournament, so three games in three days. But I think the key area is, if we can work on our finishing and do that we will be really strong.”

The Jet-setters is pooled with Lautoka, Suva and Tailevu Naitasiri in Pool B, and will be taking on Jedi’s Suva at 3pm on Friday.

In other games, Shop and Save Lautoka plays Tailevu Naitasiri at 1pm, Gecko’s Trucking Nadroga will be taking on Fulton Hogan Labasa at 5.30pm.

Ba takes on Rewa in the last match at 7.30pm.
